Changing Patterns, Changing You

Have you ever looked back and realized that you’re stuck in the same patterns? I have. I’ve noticed how my days can get caught in the same rhythms – some good, some not so much. This past year, I started noticing where those patterns were holding me back. I decided it was time to shake things up and create new ones.
I’m learning that it’s not just about changing a few things here and there. It’s about changing me.
Lately, I’ve been dreaming bigger. I’ve been thinking about my next steps – not just for myself, but for The Sinha Group. I’m working on my first book, planning to step onto more stages for speaking events, and expanding our coaching circles into corporate and non-profit spaces. These are big dreams, and they’ll take courage, planning, and a lot of grit.
To get there, I know I need to change my patterns. I need to create new habits that support these goals. For my writing, I’ve started blocking out dedicated time, even if it’s just 20 minutes a day. I’m researching more, diving into topics I love, and exploring what others are writing and saying. This is helping me build the confidence to share my voice in a bigger way.
For speaking, I’m challenging myself to say yes to opportunities, even when I feel a little scared. I’m reaching out to networks, practicing my talks, and learning from others who are brave enough to step up and share.
As for the coaching circles, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone to bring this work into new spaces. I know that corporate and non-profit sectors need safe spaces for women leaders to connect, grow, and develop. I’m figuring out how to make that happen – by adapting the circles, finding new ways to connect with organizations, and building partnerships.
This journey isn’t always smooth. Some days, the old patterns try to sneak back in – the ones where I tell myself I’m not ready, or that someone else is already doing it better. But I remind myself: this is my path. It’s my story to write, and it’s my job to take the next step.
I’m giving myself grace as I go. I’m patient, knowing that real change takes time and effort. And I’m staying open to learning and evolving.
If you’re like me and ready for some change – whether it’s in your personal life, your work, or your dreams – start by noticing your patterns. Then, pick one small thing to shift. It could be how you spend your mornings, how you approach your to-do list, or how you talk to yourself.
Small changes can lead to big transformations. And as we change our patterns, we begin to change ourselves.
I’m here, walking this path with you. Let’s cheer each other on.
