Stillness and Strength

Lately, I’ve been learning something surprising—strength doesn’t always look loud, fast, or busy.
Sometimes, strength looks like stillness.
Stillness in saying no.
Stillness in pausing before reacting.
\
Stillness in choosing rest instead of rushing.
For a long time, I thought I had to push through everything. Hustle hard. Show up big. Be tough. But I’ve come to realize that strength also lives in quiet moments. In deep breaths. In long walks. In gentle “I don’t know yet” answers.
Stillness is not weakness. It’s wisdom.
It’s where I find clarity.
It’s where I recharge.
It’s where I stop pretending and just be.
When I let myself get still, I actually feel stronger—not because I’m doing more, but because I’m finally listening. To my body. To my spirit. To what really matters.
Stillness is where I’ve made the best decisions.
Stillness is where I’ve found peace in the chaos.
Stillness is how I keep going, even when things are hard.
If you’ve been trying to power through, I get it. I really do. But maybe today, give yourself permission to pause. To be still. To gather your strength not through action—but through presence.
You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to be strong and still.
